入門条件は、長く続ける意思があり、次に該当する方です。
（外国人の方は、我が国に滞在中の期間のみでもかまいません。）

・年齢１８歳以上の方（未成年者は親権者の承諾が必要）

　女性（最近、刀剣に興味を持つ女性が増えていますが、その刀剣を使った唯一の武道
　をやってみませんか）
　会社を定年でリタイアされた方、大いに歓迎です。
　剣道のように激しい運動量ではありませんので、どなたでも出来ます。

・他の居合・試斬道場に在籍していない方

　模擬刀、帯をお貸ししますし、稽古着普通のトレーニングウエアで結構です。
　正式に入門された時には次のものを用意していただく必要があります。
　金額にして、40,000円から50,000円程度の費用が掛かります。

・稽古袴
・稽古着（名前、道場名の刺繍を入れること）
・角帯
・模擬刀（下緒付き）
・刀袋
・運搬用刀ケース
・サポーター（膝、足甲）

すでに持っている方は、そのまま使用していただいて結構です。（ただし、他の道場の名称が刺繍されたものは不可）
新しく購入される方は、武道店を紹介しますので、各自購入して下さい。
（購入の際、当道場名を言えば、割り引いてもらえます。）

入門される方は、所定の「入門申込書」を提出していただきます。


HOW TO JOIN THE DOJO
We wish for new entries to consider staying for some time with the dojo. (Foreigners are welcome to join and study for the duration of their stay in Japan). (Minors must have the consent from their guardians). New members should be at least 18 years of age. We warmly welcome retiree’s and woman to join our school. Because iaido is not as vigorous an exercise such as kendo it is suitable for anyone regardless of age or sex. We ask that in joining our school that you not be a member of another iai or tameshigiri group. Upon entry it will cost you about 40,000 yen. This cost covers keikogi, hakama, kakuobi, iaito, sword bag, and knee or instep supporters. This cost is not necessary if you already have these items; however the embroidery of another dojo on your dogi is not permissible. If you need to make the above purchase’s we can recommend a martial arts shop to purchase your own if you need. At the time of purchase mention our dojo and get a discount on your items. Please submit a written application found in the link. Bring this application with you when you visit to observe a class then get started.

２．謝礼金（傷害保険料を含む）　月額2,000円
主として道場維持費に使用します。
事務処理軽減のため、原則として年２回１月と７月に６カ月分を先払い。

所属団体がありませんので、所属団体会費、講習会謝礼、団体主催大会参加費等の諸費用の負担は、一切ありません。

To reduce paperwork we would like payment in 6 month instalments paid in principle twice a year.
Since there is no affiliation membership will not be burdened with extra expenses such as workshops or organizational fees.
