Kepler's Laws

Kepler's laws of planetary motion are instructive in many ways for illustrating various aspects of induction. But first you've got to know what these laws are.

The third law was obtained some ten years later than the first and the second. Kepler was aware that a planet with a larger orbit takes more time for one cycle, but the third law gave a precise mathematical expression for this regularity.
