Physical Time
Section Eight
Einstein now gets into his analysis of time in physics. His analysis takes two steps, (1) the definition of simultaneity, and (2) the definition of time based on the notion of simultaneity.
This definition of simultaneity can be extended to many events, not only to two events; and based on such a definition of simultaneity, we can define the notion of time at different locations. Now we can meaningfully talk about time at each location!
Beware, you've got to transport each clock very slowly!
