ABOUT THIS GALLERY The collection includes many kinds of brandy, whisky, liqueur and figure bottles. The number of bottles were over twenty thousand, he said. He was very proud of it, and it was also his best hobby to take care of them after his retirement. He had many buisiness trips all over the world (I guess that he started the collection at one of those trips ). He also had many foreign friends through collecting and exchanging bottles. I found some pictures of him and foreign friends taken in their homes. His most favorite bottles were cute and interesting bottles. He put them on the shelves in the living room to show them up. he had wanted to collect as many rare bottles of various countries as possible. As he told nobody about his collection in details, there is only little information left about it. I got more information by reading the labels of the bottles. Therefore explanations about the bottles are very limited. Each assortment mainly depends on what my grandfather made. In this gallery, only figure bottles from his collection are featured. Approximately three thousand bottles are shown. I took a good glance of them through the process of making the site, and enchanted by their cute and interesting shapes.
