My Introduction and Request

My name is Nishino Chikako. I am an English teacher at a public junior high school in Japan. I am very interested in international communication through English and computers. I want the students to know about foreign countries and to teach them communicative English. By communicating with foreign students, I hope my students will find English is a fun and interesting language to learn.
This year I am working at a prefectural educational research institute. My research theme is how to utilize computers to enrich students' sense of international understanding.
If you need some information about Japan, Nara, Japanese life and culture and so on, please send me an e-mail. When I need some information about your school, would you help me by providing it?
Some of my students want to communicate with foreigners. If you would like to contact them, please e-mail me and I will connect them. Alternatively, would you encourage young people who you know to write to the students?
If you have a Cu-SeeMe telecommunication system, I would like to have a video conference. If you could take the time to help my students and me, I would be very grateful.
