We went to Riv.Dumbea to kayaking.
The tour guide, Ben came to the hotel and we got on his car. He drove a
car to Riv.Dumbea by way of Magenta airport, Dumbea Golf Club. On the way
to the river, Ben explained to us slowly in English. He knew a lot about
NC's geography and nature. We changed a car to a truck, which loaded kayaks.
After we arrived river, Ben told us how to row a paddle. We rowed to the
upper stream and enjoy swimming in an abyss.
I asked Ben " There is no alligator, is it?"
Ben said "Yes, they're no alligator, but there is a crocodile."
He was kidding.
Locals also jumped into an abyss. My children swam with life jackets. I'm
sorry that there is no photo because we didn't bring camera with us that
day in case it is wet.About an hour we rowed down the river. Some children
caught a fish with a net.
We
got off the kayaks, and ate a snack.
After that we went to Mt.Koghis by his car. It is 1000m high. We went the
point 600m high and walked around. Ben explained about Mt.Koghis plants.
He took us to the viewpoint. There was a small restaurant. We could see
the wonderful sunset. It was so romantic.
There was a lovely bat in this garden. From the mouth of mountain's Got
the water flow out. It is believed that "If we drink it we can have
a child." But I have enough children, that's why I didn't drink any.
Ben wanted to have many children so he drank a lot.
Good night.
